Superhero of the Week: Caroline Roberts

This week we congratulate Caroline Roberts as our Current Electric Superhero of the Week!

Attending Martin Luther High School for the past four years has introduced me to many experiences and opportunities that I wouldn’t take for granted. Martin Luther has exposed me to friendships and role models that I would not have been blessed with anywhere else.

Throughout high school, I have enjoyed school community-building opportunities such Spartathon, our high school field day, and all our close-knit sports teams.

I have played varsity tennis the past four years, as this will also be my fourth year participating in varsity track. Throughout sports, my hard work in the classroom and leadership has not gone unnoticed as I was named Scholar Athlete and Team Captain for the tennis team this previous season.

From a young age, I have had a passion for learning, which is seen through my academic rigor since freshmen year, and my cumulative GPA of 4.35. Complimenting my motivation in the classroom, I have had the honor to be involved in the National Honor Society as Vice President, Student Council as Vice President, and High Honor Roll since freshmen year.

I take these opportunities to help enhance the school environment for my classmates and be a helping hand to teachers and my peers where needed. This includes being a teacher aid in the math department, and tutoring students during my free periods and before school.

I have a love for volunteering and being a blessing in others’ lives. I spend my free time volunteering at organizations such as Special Spaces, which focuses on serving children with cancer through bedroom remodels, and Ebenezer, a local food pantry. On days that I have off of school, I enjoy returning to my grade school, Hales Corners Lutheran, to help the teachers in their classrooms and around the building.

I plan to study Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Statistics and Research. I hope to further my education through medical school to become a doctor. I am excited for what the future holds and hope to serve others through my career.
