Reduce Your Carbon Footprint Current Electrics Help
If you are looking for a way to improve your home's energy efficiency and reduce your carbon footprint, you should consider going solar. Solar power is an excellent investment that is good for you and the planet. Over the years, solar has become more popular, and many people are discovering how beneficial it is in residential settings. In the early 2000s, Current Electric installed its first solar panels on a residential home. We are proud to say that we still work with that customer today, two decades later.
Current Electric has been earning five stars from Southeast Wisconsin homeowners since 1983. As a company, we are committed to helping our customers power their homes efficiently and safely. Our Energy Consultants are here to perform a full audit of your home's power and help you determine if going solar is right for you.
The Benefits of Installing Solar Panels
As energy costs rise, more and more homeowners are looking for ways to cut costs. Additionally, many people are looking for ways to make their homes more environmentally friendly. You can accomplish both of these goals by investing in solar panels.
Other benefits of installing solar panels include:
- Reduced dependence on power grids
- You have the potential to earn money by selling your excess power back to the grid
- You will still have power even if there is a power outage or natural disaster
- Improves the value of your home and makes it more appealing to potential buyers
Not only can solar power free you from your local power grid, but it is one of the cleanest energy sources available. Solar power doesn't generate any harmful emissions, and once your panels are installed, you can start generating free power.
The Solar Panel Installation Process
At Current Electric, our number one priority is your satisfaction. Once you decide to install solar panels, the first step is meeting with one of our Energy Consultants. We will assess your home and your current electrical system during this meeting, and we will discuss your needs and goals. After this, your Energy Consultant will meet with our Solar Designer to design a system that will best accomplish your goals. We then present our design to you and walk you through your options for maximizing your production and energy storage. If needed, our Energy Consultant can also help you secure financing with one of our financing partners.
When designing your system, our designers take many things into account, including:
- The position of your house
- The construction of your roof
- Sun exposure throughout the day
- Shaded areas or any other factors that might affect your production capabilities
Once you approve the design, you will be assigned a Project Manager who will be with you throughout the installation process. Your Project Manager will also work with your municipality and utility provider to secure all necessary permits and approvals. Additionally, your Project Manager will oversee the ordering of your materials and the scheduling of your installation on a date that is convenient for you.
We are also here for you after your installation is complete. For the first year, our solar experts monitor your system to ensure that you are getting the power production you need and which we promised.
Installing a new solar system in your home is exciting, and you want to make sure that it runs smoothly for years to come. Current Electric is proud to offer our solar customers membership in our SSP (Solar Service Plan). This program includes a yearly report on your system's energy production, priority service, and an annual inspection of your system. Current Electric also offers a $250 referral program so that you can tell your friends all about us.
